Revita

Revita is a fast paced twin stick platformer roguelite developed by BenStar. Initially released on the PC and Switch in April of 2022, Revita now graces the Playstation and Xbox consoles thanks to Dear Villagers in April of 2023.

As a nameless child with no memories, you awaken in the metro with a vague sense of purpose and a desire to reach the distant clocktower, hoping to find answers at its pinnacle. Along the journey you will discover a melancholic world filled with masked characters, monsters and mayhaps the answers you seek.

Revita offers a captivating gameplay experience filled with unique features but before diving into the action, the game begins with a thoughtful warning, addressing heavy themes like mental health issues and grief. Also communicated is the importance of reaching out to responsible adults or mental health professionals for support if necessary.

Players will have access to a range of abilities, along with using twin stick shooting, dashing, and wall sliding to navigate the levels. Each run is a fresh adventure, with procedurally generated rooms and an almost infinite number of combat encounters. In a daring twist, players can choose to trade their health for increased power, adding a strategic element to the gameplay. Additionally, players have the flexibility to fully customize their controls, ensuring a personalized gaming experience.

The attention to detail in the pixel art brings the world of Revita to life, immersing players in a visually stunning journey that evokes a sense of nostalgia and delight.
